Terms of Service
Last updated: March 29, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing or using roast.page ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Service description
roast.page is an AI-powered landing page audit tool. You submit a publicly accessible URL, and the Service generates an automated analysis with scores, observations, and suggestions. The Service is operated by an individual, not a corporation or legal entity.
3. AI disclaimer — please read carefully
The analysis provided by roast.page is generated by artificial intelligence. AI outputs may contain material inaccuracies, errors, or subjective opinions — even when they appear accurate due to their level of detail or specificity.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI models can and do produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results ("hallucinations").
- All analysis results are informational only. They are not professional design, UX, marketing, legal, or business consulting advice.
- roast.page performs an automated audit and provides suggestions — it is entirely up to you to decide whether and how to act on any recommendation.
- We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that following any recommendation will improve your conversion rate, traffic, revenue, or any other business metric.
- You assume the entire risk arising out of your use of and reliance on AI-generated analysis results.
4. No warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time. We do not offer a service-level agreement (SLA). Scores and recommendations may vary between analyses of the same URL due to the non-deterministic nature of AI.
5. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ROAST.PAGE OR ITS OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, GOODWILL, OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have actually paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ten US dollars ($10), whichever is greater. The operator is an individual, not a corporation — liability is personal and limited accordingly.
6. Credits, payments, and refunds
- Credits are digital goods purchased through Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record). Credits are delivered and usable immediately upon purchase.
- Credits never expire.
- All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. If an analysis fails to complete due to a technical error on our end, the credit will not be deducted.
- Lemon Squeezy processes all payments and is subject to their own buyer terms.
- EU consumers: By purchasing credits, you consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once credits are delivered to your account.
7. Free tier
We may offer a limited number of free analyses. Free tier limits, availability, and features may change at any time without notice. Free analyses may use cached results where available.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Analyze URLs for websites you do not own or have authorization to analyze.
- Attempt to bypass free tier limits, rate limits, or other restrictions.
- Use the Service in a way that degrades performance or availability for other users.
- Resell, redistribute, or white-label analysis results as your own competing product or service.
- Submit malicious, illegal, or harmful URLs.
- Use automated tools to access the Service without prior written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service.
9. Intellectual property
The roast.page name, brand, design, and underlying technology are the property of its operator. Analysis reports generated by the Service are provided for your personal or internal business use. You may share individual reports (e.g., via the share link) but may not systematically reproduce, resell, or redistribute reports as a competing service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless roast.page and its operator from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights; or (d) any action you take based on analysis results provided by the Service.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause (e.g., violation of these Terms).
12. Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings page. Deletion permanently removes your profile, remaining credits, transaction history, and analysis history. This action is irreversible.
13. Age requirement
You must be at least 16 years of age to use roast.page. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
14. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, AI processing, payment processing, and other functionality. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. Each third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy policies.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and roast.page regarding the Service. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
